BOULDER — Coach Prime had a firm and direct message to fans and social-media posters who’ve thrown death threats at CSU Rams safety Travis Blackburn: Stop.“Whatever it was it does not constitute that he should be receiving death threats,” Buffs football coach Deion Sanders said at his weekly news conference Tuesday. “He does not deserve a death threat over a game. At the end of the day, this is a game.”Blackburn was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct late in the first quarter of the Rocky Mountain Showdown after striking two-way star Travis Hunter in the chest while the latter was chasing down an incomplete pass from quarterback Shedeur Sanders.Blackburn was on deep coverage on the play in question and Hunter did not appear to see the CSU defender before contact was made. The Jackson State transfer crumpled in a heap along the visitors’ sideline. Blackburn was immediately confronted by Shedeur Sanders before officials broke the two up.The d...

No, but am I opposed to it? No, absolutely not,” Swinney said the day after the Tigers were upset at Duke.He better not be because through three weeks of this season the transfer po...

The Bay Area’s Most Crash-Prone Freeways

Published Fri, 07 Feb 2025 19:17:15 GMT

Sponsored Content Though frequently frustrating, freeways are an essential part of life in the Bay Area. Due to their necessity, the busiest freeways see approximately one million vehicles daily, according to calculations from available data. While the assertion that a high traffic volume will inevitably lead to more accidents, such details can be misleading. The Sun, LA and Independence bowls must select teams based on conference record.— Pac-12 teams must finish with at least six wins to be bowl-eligible. The conference voted several years ago to prohibit 5-7 from participating even if there are spots available. The bowl projections will be published in t...
