(AP) — The Republican-backed candidate for Wisconsin Supreme Court said Thursday that he had no problem with someone who was on the U.S. Capitol grounds during the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection campaigning for him across the state in the waning days of the high stakes race, calling his work “invaluable.”Dan Kelly on Wednesday posted a video on Twitter of himself standing side-by-side with conservative activist Scott Presler and thanking him for his work. DENVER (KDVR) — Following a shooting at East High School, the Denver Public Schools Board of Education is holding an urgent session Thursday.The urgent session began at 10 a.m. and comes on the heels of a shooting that injured two faculty members. The two deans were shot while searching a student who attended the school.After a private executive session of the meeting, the DPS website announced that classes are canceled for the entire district Friday, March 24, and it is a non-student contact mental health day for all DPS students and employees.There are lots of questions coming from parents, students and the community about the future of school safety.
