OAK BROOK, Ill. — Teens rocked their best dresses and suits as they danced, bowled and played games Saturday night while attending Advocate Children’s Hospital’s teen patient prom at Pinstripes in Oak Brook.“Prom can be a milestone for teenagers each spring, but too often patients battling complex medical conditions miss out. If, indeed, Kenta Maeda’s third rehab start with the Saints was his last, he gave every indication that he is ready to rejoin the big league club.The Twins’ right-hander pitched four shutout innings against the Iowa Cubs on Saturday night at CHS Field, allowing three singles while striking out five.After he threw 45 pitches in his second rehab start, the goal was to stretch Maeda out to 60 pitches on Saturday. Maeda left after throwing 60 pitches, owning a 2-0 lead. BYRON — In what authorities hope allows them to seize large amounts of cash and property, an Alameda man has been charged with three misdemeanors for allegedly cultivating more than 450,000 cannabis plants.The defendant, a 50-year-old Alameda man, was charged with allowing a place for preparing a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and cultivating marijuana, all misdemeanors.
